A Year in Review

We’ve had another spectacular year at Penmen Review.  Over the past year, we’ve published 137 pieces from our general submissions folder and have celebrated our annual Fall Fiction Contest with five exceptional writers whose work conveyed strong originality and craft.

We’ve also published several Spotlights from our Word for Word Reading Series and supported SNHU’s annual W.R.I.T.E Challenge. During the challenge, students participated in an 8-week experiential learning program, working in groups to research and write a resource article related to writing. The winning piece, The Vulnerability Pilgrimage: Marketing for the Reluctant (and Digital-Native) Writer, can be read here.

To celebrate, throughout the week we’ll be sharing quarterly retrospective spotlights that highlight everything we published. Click on any of the pieces to read the work.

As always, thank you so much for your continued support of our humble literary magazine. Keep submitting, and we look forward to publishing more work soon!

Best,

The Penmen Review Editorial Staff
