FROM—LOVE POEMS I FOUND IN MEIN KAMPF
THE BEGINNING
My soul’s poisoning begins again,
corruption by pain and stimulation.
Ruthlessly, I become her accomplice,
and awake with shattering insights…
So-called wisdom hardens my
young body, steals my freedom.
Corrupted
by a hothouse of
my own pain,
my gift negated
and laid bare.
